Exactly. So many rappers use similar lines, same lines, similar concepts, same concepts. So if you use a sample that's been done, it's fine, change it up, make it different. Or when you hear a beat that's paying homage to the original, that's cool with me. I think it's dumb when people purposely go out and find used samples, purely to outdo the original, or to copy the original though. Too many people think they own a sample because they used it. One of the things i hate is when I use a sample and somebody like me, with no career in music tells me they used it first. Yeah, you and 10000 other people.
