Try this X2K,seeing that you have everything setup right.
Yeah once you Audition your sound remember the patch or instrument # and MSB/LSB.
So on the MPC it should look like this.
Midi type: Program:1 A1 midi chan. (but in Program:1 folder hit open) you should see Program Change. Transmit should be On:
MSB:13 LSB:0-4 or whatever .(make sure everything is on)
now go back to main Seq Window on the MP, and turn the Program 1-127.
Do this for every track and channel setting up different instrument on their on Channel. Then once your done working on that Song or Sequence,Save all or Entire Memory. So you don't have to try to Remember what you Wrote down all the time Sure I like to dial and audition sounds, but I also don't want to spend alot of time writting down and still have to always dial when I can jus dial a few times and then save the settings,to where all I have to do is turn the Equipment on and then write a track and then Save and be done. It's not that hard to learn how to use MIDI,Save,And Load your Sequence (Midi). This is by far the easyiest way to make music. But.....Never the less ,whatever Suits your boots, jus that's a easier workflow for me and many others that I've helped in this forum.
