The answer to that is no. It won't make a difference.
Did you actually try that?
No, but I'm sure I've read about it in the RAM and CF sticky, or somewhere else in the forums.
I haven't used a CF card for over 2 years since I installed the hard drive. So the only advantage I see from using CF cards is if I wanted to collab with someone. So I never bothered to buy any other cards, since my 250mb CF is more than enough to swap files for a collab.
If anyone want's to test the speed difference between the newer, faster CF cards and the older ones, I'd love to see the results. But I'm sure that I read in the past that if there is a difference, it's barely noticeable at best.
So.. respect for your helpfull. Thanx a lot.
I was reading this topic before, but I was looking for informations about ULTRA and Extreem CF cards.
In person, I was changed ( MPC 2000 XL) hard drive disc to card memory, because on gigs I need quick montage and I don't want to heave hard rack.
My card reader is a little" hand made version" and support only 512MB : /
HEy" distortedtekno, you are promoting a CHOPIN samples ( or maybe CHOP
IN samples). What is that? I'm from Poland and of course that interesting me : )) ha ha
