its good. a bit limited but fine, espessialy with the big screen wich is really huge!

Announcement: AKAI MPC2500

Akai Professional announced the AKAI MPC2500, which develops these on the proven MPC concept and with many new and innovative functions unites. Thus there are new SAM-polarizes modes, new processing options for Sequences and altogether three independent effect processors. SAM-polarizes memory on 128MB leaves itself optional to extend. Besides there are designations of location for an optional 80GB to non removable disk and CD-RW drive assembly.

After througly re-reading the specs of the 2500---it's like---okay. I can do everything already with my 2000XL-MCD/Digi 002 with Waves Platinum.
Soooooo after REALLY considering it. The release of the 2500 makes NO SENSE on Akai's part.

Just remember,

The College Graduate, Late Registration---MPC 2000/XL
The Chronic/ Chronic 2001--MPC 3000
The Listening--Fruity Loops

It ain't the machine---it's the man at it's controls. With that said--I'ma have to pass on the 2500--the joy of the new toy is OVER.
