I agree , i hate the trend of using customers as beta-testers to debug the os/software , you can see it all around , even cubase .
they fix the ones they think are worth fixing and then release a new version leaving the previous one unfinished.
Buying the new version isn't a solution either because that version is going to introduce a whole new batch of bugs.
I mean , imagine buying a car with 6 gears , after driving around for a few hours you notice that you can't shift to sixth gear , you go back to the shop and the manager tells you " yeah , really sorry but we are working on an update for that right now"
I don't know how these companies test their products but they should try a different approach , would save them a lot of angry customers.
if i ever buy another MPC i'm going to wait until it's completely bug free , even if it takes them 3 years.
I make music because i like making music and every time i come across these error's the fun is starting to change into more of a chore.
I don't know , maybe i'm being ignorent here cause i don't really know how things work inside these company's but customer satisfaction should be their number one priority.
And like they say "The customer is allways right"
