I am getting the new MPC2500 and I have the original MPC2000 (with a screen with lines on it...can this be fixed??) and I was just wondering what can I do with both of them?? Are there any advantages to having 2 MPCs and can I hook them up and do something cool with them?? Just curious or maybe I'll try fixing the screen and selling it off...thanks!!

Hmm. Good question (particularly since I have both a 2500 and an xl that would still work except the damn slider and F3 button dont work).

My thing is this.. if youre gonna spend money to fix the screen...why bother selling it? Youd only get a few hundred bucks probably. Might as well just keep it as a piece of highly priced beatmaking historical paraphernalia.

It could only make your set-up look better... and in a few years, when we've all moved on to the MPC 12000, you can point to your sturdy 2000 and say, "I wish it was like the good ol' days..."

well it falls into MPC2000 forum AND the MPC2500 cause I'd be using both so I just wanted to get the most replies so I put it there too...

ah...I'm gonna sell it on eBay. I just ordered a new screen from VST so it'll be just like new plus it's fully loaded with SPDIF, 8 OUTS, EB16, 32 Megs of RAM, external ZIP drive, demo discs, and a few ZIP discs...it'll be under the name FILTER_FANATIC if anybody is wanting it!!
