does anyone know? This is probably the reason why the Pioneer DJM-800 doesn't recognize the digital out of the MPC-2500 (or 1000 for that matter).
The Pioneer DJM-800 only accpets linear pcm signal and I suspect that the MPC outputs non-linear pcm signal from its digital out.
THAT SUCKS if true. This is a HW limitation that is hard to change. No full digital path now if this is the case.
