i agree with alot of what Askia Shaheed said. I think sometimes it comes down to cats just being set in their ways and reluctant to change. Alot of people like to complain about the Nu-akai build quality but really disregard the whole package, you got to meet the customer halfway sometimes if you want to actually sell products. Sometimes its a blessing to have a wide user base and the internet to help certain situations. MPC's are better than ever these days (thanks to JJ
) Either way...minor issues shouldn't stop you from making music. Almost every product has minor issues...products are developed by humans.
i strongly disagree with akai's move with the 5000. Their product development is about 1-2 years too slow. The 5000 should have been the facelift the MPC line needed.
