Which MPC do you think sounds best????

The 2500 does have master effects. I love'em! I used to work with the 4000 also, and didn't like the sound of the 2500. Although, after i read the manual and played with this thing. I can add warmth and punch to the 2500's sound. The master effect feature is a lifesaver!

i had a 2K

i've used a 1K, 2kXL, 3K, and 60

60 is illest for drums

3K is real ill sounding too

1K is a piece

2K is aight if you engineer the drums, but as far as coming out of it, it sucks too

Went from a 1k to a 2kxl, to a 60/3000.... dumped 'em all and kept the 3k... the 60 is the absolute s**t, but I prefer havin more sample time.. 3k all day, IMHO

they all good for what they are. it all depends on what your making and the feel your going for.

while the mpc may give a certain sound to whatever you're trying to do, more of a unique sound is derived during mixing/mastering/fx in the daw. much more.

What's the better, a machine which doesn't modify the sound or not?
Here is the veritable question, I prefer to choose which sound my machine put out. I prefer the first one, so I prefer the 2xl.

thats the truest thing said on this post yet.

you guys are all just going back and forth saying what YOU think sounds better. it would be a matter of opinion. when you take the tracks into a DAW you will be able to get your FAT or Grimey sound through mastering/fx. since thats what you all are worried about.

justify yourself, ear...are you meaning to say that the trademark 3000 sound does more to improve one's sound than a professional your engineer?
