So is this a bug or not? I'm not talking about finding workarounds for existing bugs, I'm simply stating that the Akai OS has got bugs too!
Be specific and tell me what bug (singular?) you are talking about.

Please re-read, if Akai or Numark or whoever will add these features in one of their future updates I'll happily use this OS instead. As I said, I couldn't care less WHO is making the MPC work the way I need it to as long as SOMEBODY does it!
But its obvious, at least to me, that you do care. You appear to be so worked up. Do you work for JJ or benefit financially from the sale of the OS? Does it hurt your feelings when I point out the fact that with every OS release, JJ adds 2-4 new bugs that were not there before? That is fact not fiction. Don't think I am not happy with my MPC 2500. But I will tell the truth. Why hide certain facts? It keeps anyone programming the OS for the MPC 2500 on their toes.

No, you turned a love letter to JJ into a discussion by stating
"we're all beta-testing JJ's OS"
and I asked
"where's the difference to Akai's OS?"
So let's agree to disagree, if you're happy with Akai's OS that's cool with me!
Last time I checked, this is a forum for discussion. When you or anyone else create a thread here, you do this knowing that forum members will respond. If dude wanted to send a private communication to JJ, there are two sites for that. If you post it here, forum members will answer..JJ doesn't post here..at least not by revealing who he/she/they are.
So yes, this is now a discussion because this is a forum to discuss things. Yes, we are all unofficially beta testing the unofficial JJ OS. Why deny that? You want to know the difference between the two operating systems? You can find it here and in several threads. You want to agree to disagree? What are we agreeing and disagreeing about? I posted facts that you cannot refute.
Dude...I respect your passionate defense of the JJ OS

Maybe you too can write a love letter.
By the way....visit the JJ site if you dont want to read through all the bug reports in these forums. The JJ OS for the MPC 1000 has 21 bug fixes this past month spread out over several OS updates. The JJ OS for the MPC 25000 had about 22 bug fixes over the past 3 months. Many of them was fixed in the recent OS upgrade. You do know what that means? It means, we paid $30 for an OS that had at least 9 bugs in it.
