It effects it on the mixer

wouldn't it do the exact same thing?

Mr modnaR wrote:as far as i know, turning them up in gpe will do what you want.

Antonym wrote:new Program Mode (Global Param Edit) level applies to the mixer.
in old program mode, there is a completely different place to adjust the "level" of your sample. this is on the first page of old program mode. (
"layer level." this is now available in NPM upon WINDOW of pad number.
old program mode blows.

Antonym wrote:you can do both from the GPE page.
first - to adjust the pad level, go to the OUT page
2nd - to adjust the layer level, hit WINDOW over the pad number on the 1st GPE page.
maybe i'm misunderstanding you?

Antonym wrote:now we're on the same page. i'd LOVE to be able to do GLOBAL layer level/tune adjustments on that WINDOW screen, as you're saying. i've wanted that for a long time.
meanwhile, as modnar says, you can just hit the next pad and change values there but it'd be nice if there was a WHOLE option in that section of GPE.
