wow just discovered how powerful qlinks can be for improvisational jamming... started messing with tempo, cutoff and pitch mod using qlinks and outboard effects from a kaoss pad while playing a sequence, i got some crazy results. for instance, i added some panning and delay to an otherwise stale saxaphone sample, i then set the qlink1 pitch mod between -100 and +100 , added a lpf cutoff between the same values and before you know it i killed a half hour jamming on a four bar loop!! ... i think im on the verge of dumping my mv8800 and use the mpc 1000 as my dedicated sampler... ive had this thing for three years now and every time i mess with it extensivley i discover something new.. plus compared to the mv its easier to navigate...only drawbacks are the lack of ram memory and 32 voice polyphony other than that the 1000 is perfect... especially with jjos 2xl edition of course.

..... ooooh nevermind....its a great machine end of statement.
