Usually I make lists of what I want to learn and set about them but these are a few things I can't figure out...a couple of simple questions
1 - In OS1 there was a really easy way to set the swing using the q-links. Doesn't seem to be possible in XL. Are there any clever ways to do this other than the obvious use of the menu?
2 - 2 Auto Load folders. What's the point. I set 2 before and it just loaded up the first of the two folders - have I missed something?
3 - When you are chopping a sample you have to use the arrow keys to move to the next chop, right? Would it be worth suggesting to JJ using two of the pads (maybe 14 & 15) as a 'to next'/'to previous' chop. (i get that the left hand side pads allow you to edit the start point, right hand pads edit the end point, but moving to the next chop can only be done with the arrow keys and then you have to 'arrow' out of the chop #). Again, am I missing something here? It'd be nice (and quick) to navigate solely with the pads...what do you think?
4 - I can make my mpc trigger devices in reason, but the notes are recorded in the MPCs sequencer. Can the notes be recorded in reason?
Thanks
