thinking of trading in my mpc60 for a 1000 w/ jjos. my primary reasons for upgrading are the advanced sequencing capabilities of jjos, memory (impossible to do a live set w/o long interruptions for loading on my 60) & size to an extent.
i understand the sonic differences but are there any sequencing or other capabilities i'd be losing out on from making the switch?

heya,
thinking about potentially picking up an mpc1000 but a little concerned about the few # of outputs relative to my 60. one 'trick' i can do on the 60 if i for some reason need extra outs is to lower the volume on the main stereo mix for all sounds routed to the 8 individual outs to 0 (while keeping their volume up in the indv./assignable outputs), then hard pan the only sounds coming out of the stereo outs so they function just like 2 extra individual outs.
is it possible to do this on the mpc 1000 to get a total of 6 individual outs?
hope that makes sense, thanks in advance
