Its obvious that the MPC 25000 was based off of the 1000. It led many to believe that they are/were exactly the same internally.
However, this new JJ OS is starting to show something differently. JJ added the 300,000 note capacity to the 1000, but had to remove a feature:
It doesn't appear that this is the case with the MPC 2500.
Has the 1000 reached its full potential? Or was this just a way to give its users a 'quik fix'?

The number of notes of a sequence is changed into 300,000 notes.
Since the NOTE number increased, it became impossible to save a sequence to an internal memory.
Loading is not made, either.
It doesn't appear that this is the case with the MPC 2500.
