How about , make a 4bar drum pattern. Load a sample. Pitch it till it locks. Loop it after its pitched. Chop it. Play it by ear so it has natural swing , and bounce. If YOUR sample pattern wont work , adjust the bpm of the drum pattern, play your sample pattern until YOUR pattern loops. Its not that hard. All this timestretch , tap tempo , blah blah blah are just a waste of your time. Hiphop is raw , it has grit , it has bounce , and it is not perfect. If you really want to do it right. Tempo map your 4bar sample in a daw first. Make a drum pattern , load sample , pitch it till it "locks" then chop it to pads , mute groups ,and mono program.
