No Rewire in MPC software, and no VST support in Reason. They don't want us using competitors products with theirs. After 3 years of Rack Extensions for Reason, most of the major companies like Korg no longer develop Rack Extensions. But they support Ableton with Gadget being able to export projects flawlessly. I'll never see that happen in Reason. I'm tired of playing the waiting game with Reason. I can list a bunch of things I'm not happy with. But it's just a waste of time. Out of all the point releases since 8.0, I still never had any reason to upgrade. They're a "me too" company that never quite catch up anyway, and the same goes for Akai trying to compete with NI, yet leaving out so many essential features. I'm completely sold on Ableton now. Between that and my iPad, they offer more than everything I've seen so far.
Don't forget the biggest slap in the face of turning off your forums!!!
That was the dumbest thing Propellerhead ever decided to do, aside of releasing Reason 8. Then they continue sending spam emails about that half-assed online collab called Discover, which is useless without stems. Who the **** wants to remix a 2-track recording, aside from a handfull of beginners using Figure and Take? Those apps suck. Yet they pour all their resources into it and not other apps they could be developing. They also keep urging us to join them on Farcebook and Twatter since they killed the forums. Their forums sucked anyway... Bunch of **** Nazis.
