To the poster above me. Hello my name is Tre'. If you could hook me up with one of these Samplers, I'd love to give them a test run and give it a real quality breakdown as far as capabilities, workflow, functions, usage and what not. Basically I know it'd be beneficial to the people at Pioneer to allow me give a genuine in depth product review.
If you're going to be entering the sampler market as an alternative to the MPC and Maschine, then my experience on the MPC, should provide a good perspective or frame of reference for improvements and innovation. Also I'm sure if you read the posts on improvements and suggestions for the MPC topics throughout these threads, there could be even more innovation and features that can be added in terms of improvements to make it not only a viable solution, but a studio essential. I'm a hardcore MPC fan, so if you could make something that'd make me reconsider, and it's affordable (1500 isn't considering the Touch is like 750,) then that'd be a good selling point.
what about the accompanying software? also an immediate improvement would be to somehow make the 8 outs on the back firewire capable. so that projects and files are immediate drag and drop like the Maschine.
you would want to be able to do everything in the box from a standalone perspective. but also be able to connect it to your computer and it be basically your project opening up exactly how it is on your hardware unit but on the computer. i think MPC software does this already.
anyways ya'll need to hook me up with one of these. i was studying electrical engineering, but i'm more into doing quality assurance and testing equipment. i'd be able to help improve your product and if given the opportunity to work with the equipment i could do demos and help promote the product.
[email protected] if we can somehow make this happen. peace.
