Be specific. What midi events? What all of them? even DAWs have trouble getting all midi data from a complex musical passage, not gonna happen IMO on MPC.
WTF makes you wanna do this anyways, if ya wanna rip something off then use a DAW or learn to write stuff in the first place. Asking for a shortcut to rip of music is a bit silly to me. I have never ever needed to do this, in years of making music.
Ok so if you really really need to do this to drums you do what I said and then make midi kit that matches. Done. Then you can edit those notes to another kit that has more reasonable arrangement on the pads or matches the general midi spec. See what I am saying. If you atually do some work, you can get transcribe any beat into midi, with all the velocity and swing you want. Its not instant and you have to do it.
Hope that is not too much of a shock.
So the more I think about it, the more i think its not a great idea at all, and can not be done either. Bloody hell I could do a bar in like 5 minutes very accurately, and with other instruments to. easy.
