Is this possible? I think I've read that it isn't (only on systems running Win 2k or earlier) but I just wanted to check with you guys.

Hmmm... you are missing a point here.
Your MPC3000 would have to be running Vailixi 3.50 as its operating system to be capable of creating a disk where any of the partitions would mount on a Windows XP system.
The MPC60/MPC3000 partition scheme created by a machine running a operating system less than Vailixi 3.50 will not be mountable on a Windows XP system ... not even the first partition.

Good pointer.

I use translator for my 3k all the time

I use Translator often, and like the program for certain things.
I have never got Translator to work with my MPC3000, or my MPC60.
Always some problem, always some issue.
The Free version only lets you Translate once every 8 hours, and the Full version is $149.00

Disks, since direct interfacing between MPC3000 and PC doesn't exist.
Remedial wrote:Now, did you do any sort of special formatting of the disk in order to allow Translator to access it..
