I love the REN, but it seems like when it comes to using it as a plugin, the work flow just slows down. Can we please get drag and drop from the (MP software to the host DAW).. Lately i've been exporting as audio stems and reimporting them into logic which is cool, but I really expected since this is suppose to be a computer based workstation that it would have a smoother, and faster plugin to DAW integration.
OR BETTER YET!!!
Allow the MP's midi to be displayed straight into your host DAW (ie. Battery, and every other plugin) so you can sequence and edit your midi in your host DAW which usually has a lot more flexible midi features than the REN software such as (quantize templates from other drum machines including MPC, and custom made grooves from real drummers).
At this point the software is spot on, and has come a long way but sadly I know a few industry producers who have begun to sell their RENS due to it not being flexible enough to fit with they're current work flow that they've made all their hits with. If the REN software isn't going to be a full blow DAW that suits all needs, at least let it work nicely with the programs that do. Just my 2 cents.
