Restarting my mac everytime for controller mode

High Sierra is working fine here and seemed to be ok before it was officially patched.

Ive heard about some gliches with Sierra. I recommend not to switch OS until about 6 months to a year. Plus take into account software companies will not have caught up immediately when the new OS comes out.

I didn’t have a lot of choice. The software didn’t work at all under Mavericks, plus Apple decided to hold all my data hostage when I ‘upgraded’ to an iPhone X by requiring a version of iTunes that wasn't compatible with what I was running. Hence the reluctant move to High Sierra.

I hate when apple pulls that bullsh*t, that's why I keep a few PC's around the house(wife & kid) for ish like this...
I'm never upgrading my mac mini, that mofo will die on el cap. I would never jeopardize a great running system for no plugin/app, if that ish don't work on my set-up, i just won't be getting it (O well) Lmao Ok if Ableton Live 10 won't work we do have a problem...

For future reference, get an external Hard Drive/boot disk. When a OS update comes out upgrade it on the external Hard drive first. Once all the bugs are patched then upgrade the OS on the internal drive.

it seems like Apple is trying to beat Avid to being a butthole company. That's why l went PC. They move to much like Avid
In my stoo l will buy a new PC soon blown out. eSata encloser with 4 hot drives for my new PC. It will be like how the old Macs are eith 4 drives.

It could be that my imac does not support usb 3 port and i think that the mpc x works with a usb 3 port

Its not the usb ports becouse i heard it works with usb 2 and 3, its just not connecting as controller mode, i can see the usb drive i have connect in the mpc tho, its just not connecting as controller

Ok quick update , unistalled the drivers properly and reinstalled drivers now its working
