Here we go with the same old age cliché. "People like Tony Mas get paid..."
Lets cut the crap. He uses it in real lifeits not just him there are a plethora of top people who uses them.
I've done test with others kin the game and plugins hold there own. That's why l switched. So am l getting paid? Nope.
If hardware is 100% lots of plugins are 99% give me that and again plugins can do things hardware can't.
Eric Persing and his development of his software is like the best! His keyboard shoot out with the top players in the world saud its just like the hardware. Circuitry vs science and emulation.
Why compare 3000 against each other? Both are different beast.
I thought we were talking about what a person is going to get in 2018.
Caustic Yoda wrote:well i think we all agree that an mpc3000 sounds better than a live, so im coming from the same mind set with hardware. i make a living working in a digital/analog hybrid studio and my clients are all totally passionate about an analog or hardware mix and master, that is what i do, i use plug ins when needed but i definately dont invest in them, emualtions dont cut it against the real thing and i have many here that i have a/b'd. plugins only on a convenience level, people like tony maserati are paid to say they use plug ins and to say they sound the same, if you belive it withouut testing for yourself thats fine. All these hardware companies are still making hardware, you would think they would quit and just license plugins with nice face plates if that was the case.
