Hi
I am disappointed by the performance I get when running MPC as Audio Unit in Logic Pro. I don’t do that very often but I sometimes prefer working this way.
When running Logic Pro in native mode (not in Rosetta) with MPC as an instrument plugin and my MPC Live in controller mode, the performance is OK. Practically no lag, everything is fine.
But if I run Logic Pro in Rosetta, the same setup becomes unusable. Huge lag, meters and scroll bar seem to be refreshed once per second… unusable, even with just one track with MPC running one program.
Kind of makes sense that in native mode things are better but such gap seems huge. Since I have some plugins and hardware that needs Logic Pro in Rosetta, running MPC as a plug in is just practically not an option.
I am wondering if other users have experienced this and if maybe there is something in my Logic or MPC settings that I could tweak to improve the experience.
Thanks !
Setup: MacBook Pro 2021 14 inch M1 Pro / Logic Pro 10.7.7 / MPC 2.11.7 / Audient iD4
