Ultimately the import process is generally very basic and you'll need to dive in an change a lot of things. It might be easier to just start some of the stuff from scratch by importing the samples into the MPC Live and building from a blank program

I’ve done this alot when bringing over pgm’s from 2kxl and 4k to X. A small annoyance but I already know hardly anything is ever smooth when importing from very old to new.
The good thing about it is that the new filters are better & the beats sound more or at least can sound way better in 24bit.
