got a question about the sonics of the MPC Live and MPC 2000XL and MPC 3000:
in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTvF0Fpcmq4
you mention that the MPC 3000 has the superior sound compared to the MPC Live because of the way the MPC 3000 is built. You also advised if possible to get the MPC 3000 if a person wants superior sonics or even the MPC 2000XL as an example for superior sonics.
If I cook up a beat on the MPC Live and track it out - then send the trackouts to an engineer who masters the beat along with an artists vocals of course - given the engineer has all the necessary analogue gear - could this way ever provide a similar sonic quality compared to if I cooked up the beat on the MPC 2000XL or MPC 3000 and tracked it out and gave it to the same engineer to master with an artists vocals?
essentiallly what I'm trying to ask is - if a beat will get mixed/mastered anyway - does it matter in that scenario if I use a MPC Live, LPC 2000XL or MPC 3000 to cook up the beat?
[sent the above question to the creator of that youtube video referenced above - no response - was wondering if you guys could help me decipher this question?]
