Having some issues with stuttered chops, and the obvious reason is because its an acoustic rhythm assigned to a digital grid. Anyway, to make things a bit smoother is it worth chopping loops shorter, as in chopping sample into 8 quarter notes/equal parts instead of 16. Don't know if this is against the rules here, but the sample I'm chopping up is Roy Ayers - The Black Five. The main loop is 4 bars, the whole thing is chopped equally into 16 slices but when played back in a sequence it has that robotic stuttered nasty $hit even after pitch and time adjustments. Any tips here?
