Whats up. I have been trying out diff types of cutting breaks and i really like leaving the air on the samples. Like leaving the hats on the kicks and such. But one issue I keep running into is when laying down the beat, because I left the hats on the tail end of my samples I sometimes end up with a funky ass sounding hat in the beat depending on how I play the pads. Sometimes it ends up sounding awesome and really realistic but other times the hats sound weird and don't match at all.
Does anyone else run into this when they leave the hats and air on the end of your chops.
Any ways you guys work this out?
