Hey Everyone
Just thought it would be a good idea if there was a post for people to learn how to sample breaks and either timestretch them or make single hits to create Breakbeat/ Old-Skool Drum and Bass on the MPC 3000!
Heres an example of some amazing breaks from Source Direct

I believe the drum break is the classic 'Amen break'

How do you think the Source Direct guys did it? Do you think its a combination of single hits and timestretch snare rolls and are they using any note repeat on the single hits?
