The Mpc has been on All Sorts of non Hip-Hop albums.
Were you asking about albums made almost entirely on MPC?

there are tons and not even just electro or rnb. my first experiences with mpc was at a studio I worked at. they would use the brand new, in those days 3000, to replace and blend drums on country records and song demos. I knew what it was but couldnt ever afford one, at that time, but I learned it... Later on I met a guy that had worked for years with the dead and when I noticed he had a 60, I told him that I still rocked a 60 and he said that nothing "felt" like a 60. I knew, but it was good to hear a pro drummer say that. also I was watching some youtube clips the other night and saw a late 80s bootsy and with a 60 on stage.

moodymann makes techno/house with mpc and other gear.

good lecture here at redbullacademy: http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/lectures/moodymann-henny-and-kenny

another example is sizzlas live keyboarder of the firehouse crew like in this great reggae concert in miami (but i think that the mpc was mostly used for patch changes on the keyboards for each song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QK4c8tzC8U

and there are plenty of musicians around the world that are using mpc for almost any style of music. also roger linn was and is a guitar player and he invented the mpc for more easy drum programming for non drummers and he played rock (?) music.

Jamie XX is another.

I think music outside of Hip Hop made on MPC generally involves a fair bit of other equipment. Just an assumption though
