yes it does seem to be mostly black americans with the attitude. i am aware of jamaican music, but cant say that its much different nowdays than hip hop. i am a big fan of the period back in the day where reggae artists preached peace but i think thats long gone now on the whole. but seriously... are you a rastafarian? are you white? youre deluding yourself if you think rastas would accept you as a brother.

i think rhythm is purely cultural. its a learned thing, not genetic.

you can understand? are you completely sure? i doubt you can. its a hard thing to understand anothers attitude of superiority. have you ever been here and seen what hood life is like man? i have and im not a fan and you can be sure i wont just bow down and get fvcked in the ass by some black power idiot. im not an apologist.

yeah **** superior race thinking. but if youre faced with it time and again you cant just ignore it. youre in germany? man that place is paradise as far as race problems go. its not reality when compared to the us. you cant look from afar and claim to know anything about it.

to those europeans who fancy themselves hip hop artists, please stop living a fantasy and wake up.

and tanks to JayP for teh great learning resource!

i have a few other problems now actually

i dont know i guess because of the system reset, my sensitivity settings and all are changed

i have the VOL on max. and sensitivity set to max (25) as well, but i have to HAMMER the thing to hear nearly a full sound..... before, doing that with MAX. Vol would have fried my ears!!!

and i can only hear like that through the phones jack now.... phones connected to ST Out is even with everything on MAX extremly silent

like i said i was allready in the Sensitivy window and maxed it there too

wtf is wrong now????

+ also since the system reset: usualy i was asked directly to what pad i want to assign a sample WHEN LOADING from hard disk........ now it just pulls em into the memory without asking

again wtf? :(

damn i how can i get it back to work like it used to?

you need the official akai pad fix

it IS updated with the GOOD pads!!!!!!!!!

it was all fine before the system reset!!!

yes i can see your point and agree... correct i am not living in the ghetto or something
but man i can just repeat myself.. only UNITED .... no hes not black he cant be my brother... or look at the balck guy probably a crack nigg.a

but yes i am not living in the f.cked up states man and i never will
i can only speak for the european Reagge Ras Movement not for the jamaican

and here its pretty mixed up man.... peapole try to unite here.
the problem you facing there and that is a long term sitation that didnt occur ou of reason is what some politican punk would call "failed integration"

kids grow up and get either brainwashed by school and media or (and tahts hard to avoid compared to media) by their enviorment...

yes i can hardly imagine to live there man!!!

but back to the inital topic that made this a polit-forum, it was about MUSIC man and look the F out there and tell me there are not amazing and absolutly great Bands that are mixed Color... from sould to funk to hiphop to reggae everywhere man

Music unites.... dont get the fukin society wash ur brain and let u teach ur eventual kids one day some racist attidue

yes but who am i to comment on that, i am not there

sorry forum, just a mood

Co-Sign. Indeed, 90% of german rap is mad whack - I can tell - and the bad thing is, whackness sells - We don't have any ghettos here, but you hear this word almost everday in german mainstream (c)rap. And theese whack-ass productions. Sound like techno, just slower.. all synths n isht. Besides "Huss n Hodn" can't hear none of german crews. check em out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKN8vaCX ... re=related i like them

That's why you seldom hear any german raps - don't even wanna call em mc's on my beats...

MODE + PAD 9 -> GLOBAL tab: check your "Master level". set it to 0db
(system reset will change it to a lower value, i think -12 or something).

also, don't forget in the PAD screen to set the "Pad On level".

when in the LOAD screen hit the WINDOW key. it's a preference you need to turn on (it was changed back to default when you did the system reset).

basically, after you do a system reset, you have to go thru and change all your settings & preferences back to where they were. they can be hiding in different screens/tabs... and don't forget the WINDOW key. lots of good stuff hides behind it.

Just wanted to answer that too, but then I ended up with a very long comment on rich_biatch'es stuff, but I decided against posting it, because this just eff's up all the threads by taking them OT, when you respond. And this happens in almost every thread then... so I let it fly...

Well after a reset it's clever to (always press MAIN after you make your settings):

  1. Set up Contrast of course
  2. Set up your main tempo (SEQ and MASTER)
  3. Setup a default sequence (highligh PGM and press default, after setting it's name, tempo and bars)
  4. check master output Level (as said)
  5. Adjust the Pad Sensitivity

But there are still more settings which are stored http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/memory_e.htm

PEACE
