here let me double quote for you.. "even if it does turn out to be beyond expectations i dont think it will deter alot of people who have gotten comfortable working with the mpc to stop using the mp just because something superior has come along" So far it looks like they are trying to implement a virtual ram function on the linn drum where you would load and work directly off of whatever flash memory card you have in the unit, thats something not found in the mpc, there is also a synth/sampler engine in the linn drum which looks like they are giving equal amounts of attention to and so on... i understand your gripe, but i was just asking for mpc1000 users opinions who were interested in picking up a second box.
