Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I have my mpc attached to my keyboard and I'm attempting to send:
sysex: to set keyboard in multi-mode
sysex: to reset GM mode
cc: MSB bank select
cc: LSB bank select
pc: to select voice

When I dump the midi data to my laptop attached to midi chain via a maudio uno, it looks like this:

F0 43 10 7F 01 0A 00 01 03 F7
F0 7E 7F 09 01 F7
B0 00 3F
B0 20 41

There's no program change.

There should be PC like this:

C0 20

To select voice 33. Clearly the instrument is not changing the voice, and so here I am. I was running Akai OS 1.23, and upgraded today to make sure it's not a bug that got fixed. Still no luck.

Also, using step-edit ... I play each midi event independently and everything transmits as one would expect, except PC (which doesn't do a thing).

Any ideas? ... help greatly appreciated.

The sysex messages are transmitting and working fine and they are necessary for what I'm trying to do.

My problem is that I'm not seeing any midi Program Change (PC) messages.

My problem appears to be solved.

I had never rebuilt my "InitStudio" sequence in v1.24 since I upgraded the MPC firmware from v1.23.

So, working with Akai technical support (who were very helpful btw) we started from scratch with a new sequence and created the events as described at the top of the thread. Everything works now. My only theory is that 1.23 was broken in some way, and the sequence I built in v1.23 was somehow corrupt and failed to work even after the firmware upgrade.

Now when I turn on my equipment, the MPC:
sets the keyboard into multi-trembal mode
sets the keyboard with the desired User Voice Banks
sets the effects processor to the proper settings
sets the other sampler into correct mode, voices, effects

mission accomplished!
