I haven't been in the lab to work on any new music lately for the past few days, so I decide to go in there today and find that signs that my three year old has been in there snoopin around. Now he's generally good about not messing with stuff in there unless I'm in there. So I think nothing of it and go to turn on my equipment and noticed that my slot button has been jammed in with the cf card still securely inside. I say to my self, "what the *#*#, that doesn't look right". So I try and pull it out and then I look inside the the prongs are bent. Can this be replaced easily?

I'm pretty sure it can. Better get it fixed before O.S. 2. This is another reason why we need to be able to load the OS from the hard drive!

P.S... Don't spank the little one. Was prolly trying to make some heat like their daddy...

I have one for sale if you cant fix it... I could place it on Ebay and do the transaction via Paypal. I'll sell it for 65.00 shipped. And I am selling cheaper than Akai & VST. Just call Akai and get a price quote. Heres their number 401-658-3131 ask for Part Department. The part is call the "CF Card PCB Board".

Yeah I wish it did too! And no I didn't spank him. He was sorry about what he did though. That's what I get for having a kid who picks up on things really quick.

Already ahead of you. I'm gonna replace the door knob with a lockable one. Kids really make you come out the wallet, man.
