Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

My MPC500 has entered an audio just the other day.

As start up/loading begins a weird high pitched frequency sounds starts up and remains there

until you turn your MPC off.

The volume button does not control it nor any other function.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem? or is having the same issues?

Mixer not grounded, celular phones in the studio, audio cables crossing electrical ones, amp and speaker problems, it could be alot of things but my 500 is a silent beast.

When the batteries are low you'll get high frequency noise that gets louder and squeels when you try and do things like read the CF card to preview samples.

If you're on AC power, try another outlet, try all outputs individually, left, right, phones, and see if it's everywhere or just a specific connector.

HAHAHA!
Good call.

Turns out a frequency between my computer and MPC was causing the interferace.
Also on low batteries....

Wow.....sorry for a pointless thread.
