i use tt1610 belt drive and im happy, still, you need a preamp for your turntable

if it is only for sampling, i dont see why he should buy the direct drive.

yeah its really only for sampling

The TT is not the important choice. They needle is where your quality is either increased or reduced. And if your not scratching then direct drive is not important either.

If your going to scratch then yea get direct drive. But regardless the needle is still the most critical component.

If u just want to sample any table will do but ur gonna want to scratch at some point do ur self a favor an buy technics sl 1200 even if it's used an beat to hell it will better then any other table an the needle is very important

yo, get a direct drive, and dont get a table from a thrift store, you want it to have a good motor, and new components you dont want ur samples pitching up and down on you slightly cause of ur table doing that while ur recording samples do you? get like a numark direct drive, or a stanton, something like that, it woulnt cost ya that much, and you can scratch..

People fail to realize that.

Yeah, if you are just sampling, then you can cheap out on the table.

You can get Stanton or a Numark TT200 (I had this one), but make sure you get a good needle.
