I tried lots of 128 memory pc-133-100, the machine would count up to
64 three times then say that the memory was bad.

I went to Circuit City and purchased a ( CENTON Laptop PC133 256 MB )
$49.46 and it works fine.
I am confused as to how a 256 MB reads 128 MB, and on the package it says on the bar code MODEL-256LT133 only # 731969201039 but it works, and that whats matter. Just lookong out for the AKAI MPC 1000 peoples.
Spread the blessing.

Peace out, God bless.

It only reads half of the memory, so 256 reads as 128. I think anone has tried anything bigger then 256 yet.

I think I need to go pick this up today on the way home from work!

I went to Best Buy yesterday and told me they didnt carry that kind of RAM at all but it could have just been that store. I went to Circuit City also and they had it in there computer but someone stole it earlier this week!

Have them check the price at the register, it may say somthing different on the shelf. Make them scan it, or try the Circuit City web sight

WWW. circuitcity.com - Product Search Results - CENTON 256 MB PC 133

The exact location is. http://www.circuitcity.com/verity_searc ... =1&b=g&u=c

That brand may not be at Best Buy but that size ram they should have. The price at Best Buy and Comp U.S.A. may cost more. Also Scandisk 128 mb compact flash was $37.00 with a $10.00 rebate at Circuit City.
God bless.

This is my first post, just wanted say thanks... I grabbed the last one of the 256's they had with this exact UPC. Needless to say, I powered up and "128MB installed" appeared instantly.

Thanks so much....

It's way cheaper if you order it online. If you go to pricegrabber.com, browse the flash memory, you'll see that you can get it for the lowest price possible.
