HD recording with the 5K..help needed!!

OK so..

Im new to the whole MPC thing and im not using an interface to dump my drums. Would be nice if i could understand wat the manual is telling me to do. so for u users who know how to do this plz fill me in. i will go back and read the manual again but i really do need a little help. thanks people. stay blessed.

Can you be a bit more specific in what you are trying to do?

I'm trying to get the samples into my daw without an interface using the new HD recording.

Not sure what you mean still:

If you want to transfer the samples from your 5ks harddisk to some other piece of gear: does your DAW has USB? That would be the way to go.

If mean that you want to export your HD recordings to another piece of gear: export them as wav files to the internal harddrive, or play them directly (digital or analog outputs) and record them on your DAW?
