I notice the synth button is not illuminating when selected.

Else, thanks to Akai for the excellent upgrade.

You must be thinking of the 'Arp' button (which does illuminate when enabled)

My 5K never had an illuminated 'Synth' button, even prior to OS2

Things like these got me looking optimistic to Akai´s direction, I have a little question for people:

Do you believe that Akai will make more MPC:s after this, or do you think 5k is going to be the last MPC standing?

If Akai keeps making more OS updates, maybe this is the case.

But I cant lie: I would want to see MPC 6000, theres still more features needed.

you're right - my mistake -

"OS2 Mega Thread - Put all OS 2 Posts in here!" is not a good title because it really means "OS2 is out now!", what I did not know until I opened this thread

^^^ This was a collection of multiple OS2 threads which all started when OS2 first released yesterday. All those threads have been combined into one. But at least you know OS2 is out now - Be happy!

I know! But the title is wrong. This is not a thread for all the OS2 posts in general. The main thing is, that OS2 is out and all posts regarding this are collected here.

yes it is. the multiple pad include/exclude feature alone is worth it.
