my MPC 2000xl

hey used to be very active with my mp but lately i been givin sum thought to selling it but each time my girl naggs me to do it i just cant bring my self to do it, i never use it no more and have sort of almost stooped even making beats and chopin samples to **** on it ha. but i see it as part of my music history and cant seem to let it go, can this early 90's dated machinery be worth alot these days? i seen some of the new 1's and had a go too and you can do some powerful things on em. i remember first getting it and spending like a hole year in my bedroom on the daamn thing then i slowely joined the rat race got a full time job boxed my mp up and kept it in a safe place, but recently i have moved house and it stands proud in my living room like a statue but its just a shame to let it stand there unused, i feel some 1 with a passion like i had should have it and hopefully it will bring them some musical joy (and the frustration) i had awwwww haha

keep it or your going to have to re- buy it.

If you have no intention of using it again then you might as well let it go and buy something you need. I use mine just about enough to justify it being there, but that situation has been ongoing for the past 6 years... Its days are numbered, put it like that!

I don't know the current value of the 2kxl, but mine is in nice condition with all the options so I wouldn't go much lower than £500.

i'd keep it, you might regret it... just place it on a stand, with your monitors, and have some samples and drum kits loaded up... do like them catz who have a nice acoustic guitar on a stand in their living room... when nothing is poppin' just power it up and fcuk around but that should be about it from there, nothing more, nothing less...

Here's the best advice...roll a blunt, spark it, and start making some beats. You'll be home in no time. And in harmony with yourself, which is priceless.
