Odd Pitch Shift??

So, I recorded a song , and everything sounds alright except one thing. At one point during the song, I used the Q link Slider on pad A1, track A1 at the end of one of the sequences (sequence 5) . The song goes on to later play sequence 2, which also uses pad A1 on track A1. The thing is, now the hits from pad A1 are very high pitched as if the slider was all the way up. The odd thing is, this does not happen the first time sequence 2 is played in the song. Did I do something wrong?

I've had similar problems. It's hard to explain, but I'll try. After your recorded Q-link action affects the sound, it Stays at The Same Setting it was at at the end of the effecting. So when it cycles back through, instead of starting where you want it too, the Q-Link starts from where it left off after the action. Make Sense? Fixing it is tricky and I never got it to work just right... Maybe someone else can shed some light for the both of us...

Yeah, that is pretty much what is happening. I kinda fixed it. I reassigned the same samples to different pads, and renamed them. I went back and overdubbed the sequence with the those on top. The pitch distortion is still there, but it is now underneath the correct sample. It probably sounds like something I am doing on purpose.

I think it could potentially be used to make something sound better, but in this case, I wish I just had an easy fix.

Now I am trying to get the completed song from my MPC to my computer. I tried recording the song as a sample, then uploading, but I don't have enough internal memory to store the song on one pad as a sample. Any suggestions?

edit: Silly silly me. I was brainstorming on how to get this done, then I looked into the corner of the room, and saw my 8-track. Output the MPC to the 8-track, record, burn to CD. Done.
