Hi , this my first post but i follow the forum for a long....and this is the first time that I cannot solve a problem...

so,

today i tried to record my last tune on my daw with my 1000 and jj os2xl v.1.11(first work with this new upgrade version)and when i assign the the individual outs for an instrument program(in program mode>out) discovered that the settings remain only for one sequence...
Before tracking out i compose the tune in song mode with various sequence, now for the instruments tracks(3...)i should reassign the outs for each sequence, and the sequence are 39

There is a way to assign the outs settings for instrument program in all sequences?

ehm...i'm sorry for my bad english....

thanks for reply nym,

is a good idea to convert the sequences in a single song and after change the individual outs setting only once.
I think that for now use this trick...

but i'm sorry i don't understand 2 things:

Why should I change the settings of outs in the program mode(gpe) instead of the track mixer?
Both go to change the settings of only one sequence at a time, right?
What is the benefit?
Mode+Pad8 is track mixer, right?
What is mode+ pad4?
I noticed that the settings of the outs are assigned to one track at a time in this window...

ok, thanks a lot for the clarification...

but I still do not understand why in the GPE when I create a drum program and check/assign 4 individual outs to the pads(always in GPE)settings affect all the sequences, on the contrary, when I create an instrument pgr in the GPE and check/assign the individual outs for that program instrument(not for single pads), the settings are set only for one sequence, not for all...

it's possible to bypass this thing?
maybe i'd like something similar to the management of the individual outs for single pads/all sequences in the drum program/GPE.

unfortunately I have the 1000 only by a couple of months (my first mpc) and I'm trying "to get in the machine", but some things are still not clear to me...and jj os2xl online manual is so minimal...

actually, you just basically found a bug (or rather a workflow problem)

my solution was somewhat flawed - in GPE, turning the out does bypass the track mixer - but only for drum pgms

say you have 3 seqs, all utilizing 1 inst pgm.
say you're in seq 1 and you go into the inst pgm mode to change the output to 12
and then go to seq 2, you'll find that the output for seq 2 is reverted to MAIN OUTS

if this were a drum pgm, it wouldn't matter what seq you went to, because it's a pgm level change. the same should be true of inst pgms.

i will have to report this, as one shouldn't have to wait til the final song=>seq conversion OR go through every single seq track mixer in order to change the output specification of an inst pgm

good discovery.

great!!!

probably for me now is not a big problem, with this topic I discovered that I can convert a final song to seq(and assign for instrumnt prg individual outs fast),but if for example i'm in the next seq mode and I want to record a live performance , however,i should manually change the individual outs settings for each instrument prg in each sequence...very slow...

however,many thanks nym 8)
