I believe it is the same Teac drive others have tried as the mounting screw is definitely in the wrong place as described above. The seller's name is Caroline Ndungu and the company name is Intronics or Intronix based out of Texas. Filed a dispute with Paypal and I got a weird response. "The other party is unavailable to respond." So Paypal will decide the outcome. And that is why I only use a credit card for payment on Paypal.
Just a friendly heads up...

Thx Post, I saw that someone (may have been you) had issues that seller and I didnt get it. I did however purchase another Teac for $13 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=270340127559 I had requested that someone post the mainboard pics a few weeks ago but that didn't pan out so I opened it up myself since I was planning to upgrade my HD. I think I have it figured out. I need to do more testing.
Hopefully Paypal will do right by you and give the full refund.
