Anyone know of a good case to carry my 2500 around in?? It's too big for a laptop case or a backpack, and I'm not fVkkin' witha flight case.

Thanks y'all

i put mine in my backpack before. with the bottom of the mpc to the part that rests on your back. i put a little pillow on top of it and zipped it up so that the knobs and q-links wouldnt' get torn off.

hope that helps. otherwise... mpc 2500 box.

^^^ Just like sonseelye's image. I get all my cases from Goodwill. I look for the 70's style vinyl coated suitcase then buy egg crate foam and line the bottom and a 1/2" - 1" foam on the top. Use a 3M heavy duty spray adhesive to attach the foam. Solid, simple and effective. Should cost around $20. I don't make my cases too pretty. Don't need to advertise the contents.

I keep an MC-303 in one and had an SP-808 in another with room for discs, cords and manuals. I am sure the 2500 would fit.

There was a Guardforce pistol case that the 2500 fits in perfectly.

It was the Guardforce GD-7236C.

Unfortunately, it is a discontinued item.

I see it listed on a number of websites still but they're usually out of stock.

There's another Vanguard case that is basically replacing the Guardforce case (both the same company) with the same dimensions. Unfortunately the 2500 does not fit in it for some reason (I bought one and then returned it after realizing this).

Otherwise, the Targus TCG200 CityGear Miami Messenger Laptop Case provides a nice snug fit (unfortunately it's not a hard case).

Yeah, from what I've heard, the Guardforce case is no longer being produced and has been replaced with the Vanguard case.

I've tried to order it from one or two places only to be told, after placing my order, that it is no longer in stock.

I have the 2000/2000xl case made by Akai (soft case). Fits perfect just a little more snug than the 2000xl. Got mine from Sam Ash.
