Just got an MPC1000! I have some rambling questions!

My first real piece of production hardware!

40 GB Hard Drive
JJ OS3 installed...
RAM Maxed

1. Is there any other convenience to having a bigger flash card besides sample storage?

2. Is there a way to set a pad to sample ON when i press down on a pad and sample OFF when i no longer am applying pressure to the pad? Because I'm thinking if I have

3. Way to apply gain/EQ to a specific pad?

4. What pedals/footswitches should I invest in (in your opinion)?

number 1 = pretty much just saving

number 2 = you have to go into edit mode and where you switch from poly to mono,you have to switch it to "note off"

number 3 = again edit mode

number 4 = what ever suits YOU

number 5 = your happy as heII

number 6 = ok

all this stuff u asked can be figured out from reading the manual have u tried that?

i never have understood why people would rather post up a question and wait for someone to reply when they can just go directly to the manual and find the answer right then and there. Not to mention, the manual wont give you any smart ass replies.
