see i have a mac and I've watched Lithiums video on how to sync MPC 1000 to cubase

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG4Nzjc0tRY

I have my MPC synced to Cubase LE 4 and as a slave but when i go to record my songs into a track it records through my computers mic instead of picking up the music through the midi chord. I've been looking for weeks to find out what's wrong and can't find any answers thats why i joined this forum today in hope to find out what's wrong. hopefully someone can help me out

thanks

Make sure you set up your audio device inside of cubase. Cubase does not automatically recognize this. You have to go into cubase's audio settings and select your audio interface and the correct drivers. Once this is setup you have to turn on the "input monitor" button on the track to here audio being streamed to your cubase track. Once the audio is recorded you have to turn off the input monitoring to hear the recorded track. Hope this helps.

Once you record audio to the DAW, turn off the monitor button and make sure the track is routed to the main output bus. (judging from that last photo it looks like you just need to turn off the monitor button)

Yo P!

You helped me BIG TIME on this yo! I have been stuck with Logic and my Fast Track Pro from M-Audio for a few months. I'm an idiot (go ahead everyone... get your jokes on!) but any way my dude... you helped me once again. I should have had a V8!

xNuff respect due.

xPEACE goes out!
