umm i think i did send prah a track but im not sure if he received it. also waiting on a couple mcs too..

hey clint have we done enough to get this thread locked yet? no??

who was everyone's favourite childhood wrestler? personally i was always the biggest undertaker fan, but only when he first came out. when he actually looked scary with the pale face, and those grey rubber dish washing gloves that he used to have to pull up every 2 minutes. he was the worst technical wrestler in the history of wwf, but on that same note he was also the best character the wwf ever created

and nWO was funny as for a period... i loved it how they just went and pissed everyone off. brilliant stuff. someone should do a remix to that wolfpac track.... 'wolfpacs back causin mass destruction, guess whos here the bad boys of wrestling'   ohh man.. that was the sh!t on so many levels

Maaaaaan! I remember when Undertaker had that coffin match with Kamala- Kamala actually got up on the ropes and slammed his fat ass right down on undertaker...everyone thought he was out cold, but then he sat straight up and scared the shit out of everybody! That was a loooong time ago.
I've said it before in another post, but one of my favorite wrestlers was Superfly!

The more I read about (or especially from) the Kangz and their sock puppets the more I start to not want them to succeed. Isn't it strange? I mean the product is fairly interesting (a compact, cheap, battery operated sequencer / sampler) - heck I would *love* to have one of those (below 500 Euro preferably)....and it's (supposedly) made by a small independent group of entrepreneurs. But the whole arrogant, ignorant and fake keepin' it real attitude towards their customer base and the industry as a whole is a big turn off.

I really don't see what 'niche' they are in.

I mean if you want to pay (a little too much) for generic, not too wild products you go for Korg, Roland etc. If you want to pay a premium for boutique or special stuff get a Moog or something from Dave Smith. Feel a little more adventurous? Get something from Electron, Rozz (lovely!), Jomox etc. If you want to pay a little you either go the budget route MFB (lovely!) or buy second hand - proven concepts - stuff at e-bay.

As it stands they probably will not be able to produce this cheaply (no way they will be able to compete with second hand ESX-1s or MPC1000s, not in this market or even with Boss or MFB).

As it stands they do not seem to show the craftsmanship of people like Moog and Dave Smith. So that niche is not for them either.

As it stands they are not building something that radically different from existing concepts (in fact, their product looks a lot like stuff we know from Zoom and Emu) so they will not be able to compete with those other experimental companies (you know the Rozz and the Electron products).

So we have a generic product, for a not-so-cheap price owned by a bunch of arrogant men. Guess what market they are competing in? Yup. The Korg, Roland and Akai market.

Guess what. At least (as shitty as we may feel those big companies are) they offer spare parts, service manuals, a distribution network, dealers, a known track record, compatibility with other products, a wide network of existing users etc. etc. Oh and the CEO's of those companies do not waste their time and energy on trolling message boards.

Now take a guess which company will still be around 2 or 3 years from now, releasing solid (but usually bland) products Roland or BeatKangz.....or even Moog or Elektron. Now take another guess where I and thousands of other part-time-hobby producers (sure, I am white, not from 'da Hood' and I wear suits to work) will like spend their hard earned cash the coming years? In this market they cannot afford a 'bad' vibe: the market is very small compared to other markets and a loss of a few dozen potential fans is bad news. Very bad news. That's not just people who will not buy your product, it's dozens of people who will only talk negatively about you, your company and your 'thang'.

What bothers me most is that here and on HC people have told them this; look guys, we like what you are doing, just drop to attitude and take us seriously. But like a bunch of 11 years olds these retards responded by flaming those potential customers who had some very valuable suggestions and questions.

There is no face palm emoticon available to describe how I feel about these guys right now.

funny post lmao at dude being loyal to akia like its they uncles company or they are stock holders, also laughing at dude being turned off (being sensitive) by the marketing just cos it aint some stiff white dude selling the product.

i will agree the name is cheesy and the dude may of over done it in the videos but thats no reason to wish failure on them.

the product has dope features the only concern i have is the price this thing needs to be under 500 quid or it will flop it needs to be pitched at the same peeps that bought the sp range cos the dudes that buy a mpc2500 aint gonna **** with this.

but gotta give them props for vision and courage to strike out on they own and make a product, every successful person u know had naysayers telling them it could not be done but they did it anyway.

The Ultimate Warrior

This guy would smash you to mush, eat said mush, poop out said mush, bake and harden said mush, smash said mush again, eat said mush once more....then piss out any remaining nutrients from the once was said mush. I never really got into wrestling, but my older bro was when we were kids, and this guy was ill to me.

haha, ultimate warrior used to be soooo COOL to me when i was little. those arm tassles, and that awesome entrance music, and his finishing move to me were the bomb.

but several years later down the line.....

i watched this doco on the ultimate warrior and it was hilarious as. some of yall probably seen it. it basically exposed him to those that didnt already know, that the ultimate warrior was really a jerk and basically pissed off everyone in the wwf. apparently he was areal rrogant, and never followed the 'rules' when he wrestled, and always made it harder for the other wrestler by just being a plain dick.

also check some of his incomprehensible interviews on youtube. that stuff is classic... talking about spaceships and aliens coming down to earth and what not. good stuff.

" But the whole arrogant, ignorant and fake keepin' it real attitude towards their customer base and the industry as a whole is a big turn off ".

...Well, this was my whole point to begin with near the start of this thread. When these fools wise up and realise that possibly over half of their eventual customer base would be people with non-black faces, they might suddenly start to finally realise the situation as it would actually be - by then, though, they would of started to ostracise many of those very customers needed to make their product a success.
I am of mixed background, but, like I stated before, I would never -EVER - give my money to any type of racist group or body, whether it's complexion be black or white !!

This fools will one day truly grow up, smell their own biased sh.tte for what it is and, ultimately, realise what the real global market place is all about ( methinks it will be too late for them by that time, though ! )

I had a fairly decent list of improvments over the MPC range that I coul of willingly shared with these guys, til I realised, sadly, just what an racist bunch of pr.cks run the whole effort !! Like the saying goes : " Hell will have it's own Ice-Hockey team before I wish good-will on them at any point ! "

Too often , some black people are just too willing and damn quick to excuse themselves from their own racism and wilful ignorance - and it turns my stomach, truly !!
