this is prob a question you've heard a 1000 times

plz can someone help me.?
I have a mpc 1000 and a microkorg keyboard.
How do I record a second sound in a second track without changing the first sound that I just recorded? Everytime I wanna record some new sond, all the sound of my previous track changes as well .
This is driving me crazy plz someone help me !

I do not own a 1k but are you saving your sounds after you recorded them? Might be the problem.

can you save a multi on that thing like you can on an es rack? i just record the sounds from my sh-201 into the MPC as a sample then just trigger it using the pads. i think on the sh-201 you can only have 2 sounds playing at once. that might be the same for the micokorg. recording the actual audio might be your best bet.
