Sampling (Digital)

Noob to the whole mpc thing & production in general. I always hear about getting loads of vinyl to sample. What about digital sampling i.e. on the pc using software? Is that just as easy to do?

You sample whatever from whatever and send it to whatever. Its all about how you project your ideas in the form of music and how the crowds react to it that matters.
