Hey all,

I recently started using the JJOS and ran into an issue when I converted my song into a Sequence with the Mute Tracks option.

When I listened to my song in "Song Mode" I heard all of my pad hits as I expected them.

However, when I converted the song to a sequence I lost some snare hits.

Any ideas on why this would happen? I do know that on a couple of the tracks I had multiple pad hits. I'm thinking about moving them to separate tracks (pulling the snare and kick onto different tracks) for track recording and such, but I'd like to know IF this _is_ the problem or if it's another issue I'm unaware of.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

In song mode, the track layout for whatever sequence is first is copied to the rest of the sequences.

like say this is your tracks and the programs assigned to them..

Track 1-----> Drums1
Track 2-----> Drums1
Track 3-----> Perc1
Track 4-----> CAsiyo3A
Track 5-----> Keys1
etc.....

all of the sequences that you use in the song need to be in this order..
. You smell whut i'm steppin' in home bwoy?? ???

Makes sense... but...

what if on Sequence 1 I have this:
Track 1-----> Drums1
Track 2-----> Drums1
Track 3-----> Perc1
Track 4-----> CAsiyo3A
Track 5-----> Keys1

And then on sequence 4 I have this:
Track 1-----> Drums1
Track 2-----> Drums1
Track 3-----> Perc1
Track 4-----> CAsiyo3A
Track 5-----> Keys1
Track 6-----> Sample1

and then on Sequence 5 I have this:
Track 1-----> Drums1
Track 2-----> Drums1
Track 3-----> Perc1
Track 4-----> CAsiyo3A
Track 5-----> Keys1
Track 6-----> Sample1
Track 7-----> Sample2

Will I still get the samples playing from 4 and 5 if they are part of the song?

Thanks for the tips

Track 1-----> Drums1
Track 2-----> Drums1
Track 3-----> Perc1
Track 4-----> CAsiyo3A
Track 5-----> Keys1
Track 6-----> Sample1
Track 7-----> Sample2

make sequence 1's tracks like this, with nothing sequenced on tracks 6 & 7.

Any tracks you use in the song have to be on the first sequence whether ther'ye used in that sequence or not, so....

Peace and a good weekend to y'aall!!
